I Have A Doctor, Why would I need a LNCC?
-
Cost effectiveness. LNCCs organize and identify medical records that the expert witness must see, thereby decreasing the time experts spend in the records, and increasing your cost savings.
-
Unlike a physician, an LNCC is able to work around the busy attorney's schedule, and will dedicate the time needed to give you a complete and thorough work product.
-
LNCCs have the time and experience to produce a much greater detailed work product that can be used by the attorneys and experts at trial (ex. literature searches to back up the expert's statements and development of demonstrative evidence).
-
Teaching is an integral function of nursing, and the LNCC utilizes it frequently to educate the litigation team, judges, opposing counsel and jurors.
-
Clients and jurors have an inbuilt trust of nurses that makes it easy for LNCCs to develop trust relationships that further the goals of the litigation team
