I Have A Paralegal, Why do I need a LNCC?
- Distinct from a paralegal or legal assistant, the LNCC is a unique and valuable medical member of the litigation team.
- The paralegal is an expert in legal document construction, where as a LNCC brings specialized nursing education and nursing clinical expertise to the medically related issues of the litigation process.
- Paralegals can organize the medical records, but they cannot abstract or analyze all the key medical data that a LNCC can.
- The LNCC performs her duties in collaboration with attorneys and paralegals and augments and compliments their work product, but in no way replaces it or duplicates it.
